Below you will find all the resources that you need to complete Year 7 Chemistry. Each topic is split into three sections that roughly take an hour each to complete. These can be completed on the same day, across three days or over a number of weeks. It is up to you how long you spend on this unit, but if you are sticking to the curriculum, then you will complete one topic a week for 12 weeks.

Journal
Throughout their studies, students will be asked to answer or record information in their journals. But what is expected? The journal will probably be messy, but that is ok. I want the student to record their studies and thoughts in any way that they feel is useful. They will be asked reflection questions to help them start thinking about what they are doing but I do expect them to move on and begin asking and answering their own questions. Photographs of experiments, diagrams, printed-out sheets or materials can all be placed in their journal. Below is a short video you can share to show what other people's journals look like.
